Design Technician

Coming to Reprise from the food service design industry and educated as a CAD technician at Northwest Technical Institute, Heidi’s breadth of experience and education proved too great to confine her to a single work area. We knew her career wasn’t one to be labeled or confined inside a box. She had already practiced as an architectural intern, CAD technician and kitchen designer. Going backwards or standing still were not options; Heidi was ready to move forward.

At the moment we said, “You’re hired,” Heidi graciously accepted. She soon announced she was getting married and that she and her future husband had purchased a site for their dream home. The approach to the property, in her eyes, required that a bridge be built over a stream. That there might be a second, less desirable approach to the site seemed not to be a consideration. We heard echoes of Daniel Burnham’s quote living out in Heidi’s approach to life: “Make no little plans. They have no magic to stir men’s blood and probably will not themselves be realized.”

Heidi weaves precision and creativity into companion skills. She is, at any given moment, an architect, technician, interior designer and kitchen equipment expert… just to name a few.
